A Message from The Badass Teachers Association

The Badass Teachers Association Administration Group had a breach Sunday night. We were forced to remove all administrators out of our old administration group and are in the process of restructuring. This is a sad time for us as many have worked hard to build and maintain this organization on a daily basis. Trust and solidarity are key to keeping this movement alive. To that end, we want to reassure our members that our hearts remain committed to you and to our cause. We have been able to regroup without missing a beat and look forward to the many things we will be doing to save public education for our kids and communities.

To that end many of you will learn, as well, that Mark Naison has left BATs. Mark has been a tireless crusader for social justice. At times our work will overlap. However our present mission remains tightly focused on challenging inequities in public education, as well as, our continued fight for social justice and equity.
