Everyone who examines the curricula closely can see how deplorable it is. Big Government is in bed with Big Corporation, and that is never good. The way we can fight it is by amassing numbers and declaring that we won't stand for it. The government is violating the Constitution so blatantly, is hurting ordinary people and children and muzzling them, people on both sides of the aisle can agree and fight together. We can all unite in saying this is wrong. It's our greatest strength--we are supposed to have a government by the people, for the people. I'm glad you guys are here, fighting this. More power to you. In our region of northern NYS, about 25% of school kids' parents opted them out of the Common Core testing, in each of the 2 successive weeks they were administered. The teachers, around the country, should do the same: just a wholesale boycott of the whole program.

Schooling is mandatory. So, what's the government gonna do, if everyone chooses not to participate in this new, for profit, abusive program?

Onward and upward!parents knowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06861916261234404063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3410387772840321888.post-18495348339742327242015-04-21T18:34:52.082-04:002015-04-21T18:34:52.082-04:00After the first PARCC PBA assessment, we felt like...After the first PARCC PBA assessment, we felt like we were being treated like criminals, not being able to freely reflect on the test with students or even with our own colleagues! Many of years, my Ss and I have had great discourse reflecting on a couple of questions. It's healthy to do that! My God, how ridiculous. Thanks for blogging about this.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3410387772840321888.post-50635169583944817762015-04-20T12:20:19.486-04:002015-04-20T12:20:19.486-04:00Well done
