Our evaluations are still tied to their math or ELA test scores as if we taught them all year. So even if a kid is showing up every day and never changed addresses, their scores, whether low or high, are misleading and inaccurate as used in our evaluations. This is why they created options to use whole grades or whole school averages, because the attempt to quantify how much a teacher taught each of their students is near impossible. But when we opt for a broader average, it gives the illusion that we buy in to APPR, which we don't.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
